During your semaglutide weight loss program consultation, we will look over your medical history and evaluate your overall health to see if you are a good candidate for Semaglutide. If your weight-loss goals are realistic, we will then create a medical weight loss treatment plan to help you achieve the desired weight loss.
The experienced providers at Injectco, Texas will develop a customized semaglutide weight loss program based on the patient’s goals, anatomy, medical history, and many other factors. A prescription for the semaglutide injection is included, and the Injectco provider will teach the patient how to inject it.
For the next four weeks, you will inject one pre-dosed insulin syringe subcutaneously on the same day each week for four weeks. During this time, we encourage you to follow our meal plan suggestions and exercise daily in some sort of manner (even a short walk is perfect!)
The patient is seen in the Injectco clinic once a month to monitor their progress with the semaglutide weight loss diet. The prescription may be adjusted based on the patient’s results and needs. Patients may repeat the monthly semaglutide weight loss program as long as needed to reach their goal weight.
Semaglutide is a safe medication. However, like all medications, there are certain drugs and conditions it cannot be taken with. Patients with Type I diabetes should not take Semaglutide. Additionally, patients who are not severely overweight are not ideal candidates unless they also have a weight related medical condition.

Semaglutide is most often prescribed to individuals with a BMI above 30. Though, individuals with a BMI below 30 that are considered overweight may occasionally benefit from Semaglutide injections.
Once goal weight is reached, we often allow patients to stop the semaglutide weight loss program under close monitoring. If appetite begins to increase, we do allow for a check-in every few months, as needed. Semaglutide can also be ordered orally to assist in maintaining weight. The semaglutide weight loss diet is not a substitute for a healthy diet and exercise, but it can be a very effective booster treatment alongside a healthy lifestyle.
In a very small percentage of patients, mild constipation or light nausea may be seen at times. Your medical professional will be in touch with you often to ensure you are feeling great on a day to day basis.
